Marwa Hamed – Principal of the British Section
Ms. Marwa Hamed is the Principal of the British section, bringing over twenty years
of extensive experience in education with a specialization in the IB, American, and
British curricula. Her career in education began as an English teacher, where she
recognized the powerful impact of inspiring and supporting students to build their
confidence and foster growth. Over the years, she has held multiple leadership roles
including department head, academic coordinator, stage coordinator, and school principal, each
contributing to her comprehensive understanding of cultivating a positive, purposeful, and
professional school culture.
Ms. Marwa is deeply committed to holistic education, emphasizing not only academic
achievement but also nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and personal expression. She has
played a pivotal role in leading her schools through successful accreditations across IB, British,
and American educational systems, enhancing her expertise in curriculum development,
performance assessment, data-driven planning, and strategic leadership.
Professional development is central to Ms. Marwa’s leadership approach. She has designed and
delivered numerous training programs for staff and students and holds a Diploma in Academic
Management and Directorship from Notting Hill College. Her ongoing professional growth
includes workshops in academic assessment, critical thinking, classroom management, and
technology integration.
